Furygan Raptor jacket evolved…

The Furygan Raptor jacket became a firm customer favourite thanks to its sporty design, high-quality leather construction and technical details. For 2019, Furygan has introduced the new Raptor Evo jacket – an updated version of the original Raptor using the latest technology derived from Furygan’s GP race suits. The result? A jacket with un-compromised levels of comfort, precision and protection.

Furygan Raptor Evo jacket 

The Raptor Evo is an aggressively styled, full-grain leather jacket that is both durable and comfortable. With a water-resistant outer shell and Furygan’s Air Flow System (AFS) ventilation – water-resistant vents that can be opened in order to create air flow around the vest – the Raptor Evo is ideal for summer riding, even in unexpected rain showers.

The Raptor Evo has triple-stitched, reinforced leather for tearing and abrasion resistance, as well as external new-generation TPU shoulder shells for extra protection. On the inside, the jacket has D30 CE-certified shoulder and elbow armour, with pockets available to accommodate back and chest protection. Developed by Furygan’s internal development research centre, Motion Lab, the jacket has a fixed internal Furygan Skin Protect Lining – reinforcing the tear resistance of the jacket.

For rider comfort, it features high tenacity bi-stretch inserts as well as strategically placed neoprene panels as well s pre-curved sleeves. There are four pockets – two inside and two outside – and waist adjusters to ensure the perfect fit.

There’s a breathable lining  for added comfort in summer, as well as a removable thermal-quilted padded lining with aluminium chest inserts to retain heat, making it a versatile addition to your riding kit.

The Raptor Evo is available in two colours – black/white and black/red –  in sizes S-3XL, with an RRP of £429.99.

Furygan Raptor trousers

The Furygan Raptor trousers are the perfect companion and can be connected to the Raptor Evo jacket by one of two connecting zips – one short and one full length.

Made from CE-approved full-grain 1.4mm thick leather – the same as Furygan’s race-ready leather suits – the Raptor trousers have triple-stitched reinforcements in key impact zones to avoid tearing and abrasion-resistant, as well as Furygan Skin Protect lining. They feature CE-certified D30 protectors on the knees, which are adjustable, and the hip areas have additional foam padding.

Ensuring maximum rider comfort, the Raptor trousers have bi-stretch fabric at the crotch, behind the knees and on the inner part of the calf. There’s an elastic waistband and stretch leather at the waist and knees for optimal ergonomics, as well as a new design for the leg shape derived from Furygan GP race suits.

The leather is treated for water resistance and the internal lining is made from Coolon, designed to maximise breathability, moisture absorption and all-round riding comfort.
