Two new Furygan jackets now in stock

Two new jackets from French motorcycle clothing manufacturer, Furygan, are now in stock UK dealers. The brand-new Furygan Bullring leather jacket is part of the 2018 Spring/Summer collection, while the Furygan Blast textile jacket is now available in a striking new Jet Black/Fluo Yellow colour option.

New for 2018, the Bullring jacket is a versatile, clean-look, sports-fit jacket with a multitude of hidden features that make it an essential part of any riders’ wardrobe. CE-approved and made with the same full grained premium leather used in Furygan’s race suits, the Bullring has all-round performance, ergonomics, comfort and protection.

The Bullring features Skin Protect lining, tested and approved in Furygan’s own R&D centre, Motion Lab, to reinforce the leather for additional tearing and abrasion resistance. There are new generation thermoformed external shells on the shoulders, while areas that may be exposed to abrasion in a crash situation are reinforced with triple stitching to avoid tearing. Internally, the jacket features D30 CE protectors for the shoulders and elbows, offering full protection without restricting freedom of movement. There is also a designated pocket for an optional back protector, compatible with D30’s “Central Back’ (level 1) and “Full Back” (level 2) back protectors, available as an added option.

Riders can be certain of staying comfortable with technical internal lining made from Coolon, a material specifically designed for maximum breathability and moisture absorption. There are neoprene inserts on the collar and wrists, adjusters on the waist, as well as high tenacity bi-stretch inserts on the elbow and shoulders for enhanced ergonomics. For protection against the cold and rain, the Bullring has a thermal padded vest lining with aluminium inserts on the chest and made with water repellent treated leather.

There are three pockets (one inside, and two outside), and can easily be connected to trousers with two connecting zips mounted on an elastic belt, one short and one full.

Available in Black, in sizes S-3XL with an RRP of £429.99

The Furygan Blast jacket is a CE-approved textile jacket that looks, feels and acts tough. Made from high tenacity polyester for maximum abrasion resistance, the Blast also has ‘Balistic’ textile inserts and foam reinforcements at the forearms where abrasion risk is greatest, plus a new generation of thermoformed external shells on the shoulders. The Blast is fitted with D30 CE-approved protection on the shoulders and elbows, as well as a designated back pocket compatible with level 2 and level 1 D30 back protectors, available as an added option.

For added comfort and versatility, there are neoprene inserts on the collar and stretch panels behind the shoulders, as well as fitting adjustments on the waist, neck and arms. The Blast features an internal Polymesh lining that is waterproof, breathable and lightweight for a comfortable ride, as well as a removable, thermal padded lining and mesh panels at the armpits to ease heat dissipation.

Any rider can stay protected against the elements with Furygan’s “AFS” system; vents with water repellent zips on the chest that can be opened in order to create air flow in the vest. There is also a flap underneath the main zip to act as a barrier against wind and rain. There are five external and internal pockets (including a mobile phone net pocket), and the jacket can be easily be attached to trousers with a connecting zip mounted on an elastic belt, and added snap claws for rider practicality.

Available in the original Jet Black and Black-White options, and the new Black–Yellow, in sizes S-4XL with an RRP of £249.99

About Motion Lab

Already widely recognised for the quality of its products, Furygan’s demanding approach to its work led the company to redesign its range with the aim of being able to offer the first collection fully compliant with even the strictest European standards in terms of protection for motorcyclists. To achieve this, Furygan has developed its own research and development centre designed to drive change: the Motion Lab. When it comes to abrasion, cuts, tears, perforation, ergonomics and impacts, after months of tests on state-of-the-art equipment, identical to that of the official certification laboratories, Furygan met and exceeded its objectives. Every garment in the Furygan range is fully CE-approved.
